Now, you are probably thinking that this is a rather provocative title: "Naked Baptists". Were you secretly hoping to see a "spread" across the top of this page of some "Christian" women in their birthday suits? Are you "into" the sin of pornography?
If you are into pornography, I am not surprised. There was a convention not too long ago in the South, a convention of Baptists. It came out later that the hotels associated with this convention were getting lots of "hits" at night -- on their porno cable channels. In fact, the hotels received more such porno hits than it had in any other previous convention, or so they said.
Now, how could it be that so many so-called Baptists were interested in seeing such pornographic filth? After all, weren't Baptists supposed to be more "holy" and less "carnal" than those "pagans" who might otherwise be renting such hotel rooms?
The real problem is that most Baptists today are lost. They are all "holy" on Sunday, but on Monday, well, that is quite a different story. In fact, they are what the Bible calls "hypocrites". They appear very holy on Sunday, and then "live like Hell" during the rest of the week.
You are probably thinking at this point that this was going to be a web page about naked Baptists. Well, actually, it is a web page about naked Baptists. Jesus in fact mentioned such naked Baptists and other so-called Christians in The Bible. In fact, Jesus said that there would be quite a lot of such naked Christians in the end of the Church Age.
The end of the Church Age is called the Laodicean Church Age. It is the last period of Church History before the Antichrist is revealed, and Jesus returns to the Earth to destroy this Antichrist, and then set up His thousand-year reign upon the Earth.
This Laodicean Age was talked about by Jesus in the third chapter of The Book of Revelation. Jesus said that this period of time would be filled with many church members who would be spiritually stark naked but would not even know it. It is kind of like "The Emperor's New Clothes". No one would be willing to tell those Baptists "You are naked!" but everyone would know deep down that it was true.
But you are probably now protesting that you are not naked. Yes, you are naked - you are spiritually naked. Your spiritual nakedness is the reason that you really had hoped to see some naked Baptists on this page. You have cleaned the outside of your cup, but inside of your heart you are filled with filthy pornographic desire. You desire such filth because you are "religious but lost".
Being religious but lost means that you are religious but have never been truly born again. Sure, you might have raised a hand, prayed a prayer, or walked down an isle. These are "good works" -- but no one is saved by good works.
You must be born again. This is something that God does to you. It results in a changed heart, a heart that does not seek after pornography, a heart that loves God and wants to serve Jesus instead of committing sin. Jesus is who you need.
Turn from your sins. Jesus is up in Heaven right now. Jesus can cover your sins with His blood, which He shed on the Cross 2,000 years ago. When Jesus' blood covers your sins, God will not be able to see them. You will be clean before God, and will be able to go to Heaven when you die, instead of going to Hell.
Therefore, Trust Jesus today. Then get into a good Fundamentalist Baptist church. Put Jesus and the Bible first and live for Jesus.
